Sacred Animal Spirits Collection

Sacred Spirits Collection is something I have been working on coming to fruition for many years. It is an honor and joy to share with you. Each piece has my heart and soul.  Each piece has been channeled with a specific spirit medicine and is high frequency art, medicine for the soul. I start off with cleansing my mounted paper with Sacred Palo Santo Spray. The gold background is then applied. It is a liquid gold leaf that is applied with a brush, leaving organic texture for the light to reflect. I wanted to work with a medium that used reflection because whatever experience we receive is reflected back into the painting. You become the work, and the work becomes you. Mirroring Oneness with all that is. Sacred Geometry is then laid over the whole paper. I use a fine brush to lay in the grid lines over the gold and a pastel pencil that becomes the foundation of the animal. At this point I call in and become a channel for the energy to flow through me and I just let go and create. Building layer upon layer with soft pastel (fancy buttery chalk) until the piece sings with gorgeous color and I know it is done. Afterwards it is protected with a natural fixative, photographed and then framed in a wood frame with golden detail and anti-reflective, museum quality glass. The animal spirit and sacred geometry is then written on the back of the painting. This work for me is so much deeper than art. It is my calling, my gift, what I have been asked to share. It is all of me, and everything more. It is light. It is love.
